Questions we get asked
How new is Laundritek as a franchise?
The brand launches for franchising in 2026. The operating company, SH Laundritek Sdn. Bhd., has run laundromats since 2016 and operates 100+ outlets today — so the systems, service team and software are already proven, not planned.
Do I need laundry experience?
No. Most of our franchisees come from other businesses. Training covers operation, hygiene standards, cashless payments, customer service and basic first-line maintenance.
How much space does a site need?
A kiosk works from roughly 40 m², a neighbourhood shop from about 90 m², and a flagship from 150 m² upwards. Exact requirements depend on machine mix, so we confirm after a site visit.
How is the investment calculated?
By machine count, fit-out scope and site condition — power supply and drainage vary a lot between shoplots. We quote per site rather than publishing one headline figure that would not hold.
Who maintains the machines?
Laundritek. Preventive maintenance and breakdown response are handled by our in-house service team, backed by IoT fault alerts that usually flag a problem before the customer does.
