Privacy Policy
How SH Laundritek Sdn. Bhd. handles the personal data you give us through this website, our enquiries and our machines.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by SH Laundritek Sdn. Bhd. ("Laundritek", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in Malaysia and a subsidiary of Loranet Sdn. Bhd. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this site. Our contact for privacy matters is sales@laundritek.net.
2. What we collect
- Enquiry details — name, phone number, email address, state or area, and any message you send through our quotation, franchise or vacancy forms.
- Application details — the CV and contact information you send us when applying for a role.
- Technical data — browser type, device type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and pages visited, collected through standard server logs and cookies.
- Machine data — for outlets on our IoT dashboard, machine status and usage counters. This is equipment data and does not identify individual laundry customers.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation or site plan.
- To arrange a site visit, installation, service call or delivery.
- To assess a franchise or job application.
- To operate, monitor and maintain our machines and the IoT platform.
- To comply with accounting, tax and legal obligations.
- To improve this website and understand which pages are useful.
We rely on your consent when you submit a form, on the performance of a contract when we supply goods or services, and on our legitimate interests in running and improving our business.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only where necessary with:
- Our service, installation and logistics teams, and authorised contractors working on our behalf.
- The equipment manufacturer and its technical support network, where a warranty claim requires it.
- Professional advisers (auditors, lawyers) and regulators, where the law requires it.
- Technology providers that host our website or dashboard, under confidentiality obligations.
5. Cookies
This site uses only essential and analytics cookies. Essential cookies keep navigation working; analytics cookies tell us which pages are visited. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the site will still work, though some preferences may not be remembered.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact. Customer, warranty and service records are kept for as long as the equipment is serviced by us, and for seven years after for accounting and warranty purposes. Job applications are kept for 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
7. Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) you may ask to access the personal data we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, withdraw consent, or ask us to stop using your data for marketing. Email sales@laundritek.net and we will respond within 21 days. You may also contact the Personal Data Protection Commissioner of Malaysia if you are not satisfied with our response.
8. Security
We limit access to personal data to staff who need it, use access-controlled systems, and keep paper records in locked storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we take these obligations seriously and review our practices as the business grows.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be notified to active customers directly.
